EYFS Profile in Transition

The Early Years Foundation Stage Profile is the assessment tool for the EYFS. Children's progress and attainment are judged against the profile scores.

The EYFSP consists of 13 scales.
Each scale consists of 9 points.

Problem Solving, Reasoning and Numeracy 3
Creative Development 1
Physical Development 1
Knowledge and Understanding of the World 1

Please Note:
Points 1-3 are usually acheived in order, points 4-8 can be achieved in any order and point 9 can only be acheived after points 1-8 have all been achieved. Please refer to the relevant pages on EAL and Special Educational Needs Guidance in the Profile Handbook.
