EYFS Profile Moderation Procedures in Lincolnshire

An outline of the moderation process can be viewed on the timeline. This provides a brief overview for the academic year, however it may be subject to change.

In Lincolnshire we ensure that our model of moderation follows guidance laid down by the Qualification and Curriculum Development Authority (QCDA) whilst also meeting the needs of practitioners within the Local Authority. This is laid out in the moderation requirements booklet 2009/2010.

A lead practitioner from each setting who is responsible for the completion of the EYFS Profile takes part in moderation activities at least once annually.
