Talking Tables

Being able to express what is important to you and to feel listened to and appreciated brings gains in confidence and a sense of well-being. Children are able to have conversations around things of mutual interest in an atmosphere of respect and relaxation. There is not a right or wrong answer so the pressure to satisfy some standard is removed. What makes human sense is what counts, and vocabulary comes in to help articulate meanings, which are often conveyed by body language and other expressive arts. It is an approach which hears the many languages of children.
