The Role of The Birth To
Five Service

The Birth to Five Service Team monitors, challenges, supports and
provides training to Settings within Lincolnshire which cater for
children from birth to five. This includes support for Schools,
Pre-Schools, Nurseries, Children’s Centres, Day Care Settings and
Registered Childminders.
The main aim of the Birth to Five Service is to ensure that all
Early Years Settings have access to efficient and effective support
in order to deliver the ‘Every Child Matters Agenda’, ‘Early Years
Foundation Stage Framework’ and make a real difference
for young children throughout Lincolnshire.
Since September 2007, the Birth to
Five Service has been managed by CfBT Education Trust, working in partnership
with Lincolnshire County
Council. CfBT provides a very successful School Improvement Service
in Lincolnshire.
