Lincolnshire County Council remain committed to offering Early
Years & C
hildcare
practitioners a full range of courses that will focus on developing
their skills and knowledge, enabling them to remain up-to-date with
legislation and initiatives and ultimately ensuring Every Child
Matters in Lincolnshire.
With the introduction of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS),
the Birth to Five service have been working with training agencies
and partners to ensure that courses are adapted to
incorporate the new framework.
The Early Years Foundation Stage Principles are reflected
throughout the Training Directory courses.

PLEASE NOTE: as
from 1st October 2009 the National Minimum Wage
increased to £5.80 per hour.
As from this date staff
cover can be paid at this rate (prior to this all claims will be
paid at the rate of £5.73 as detailed on the funding guidance
notes) whilst colleagues attend training. Please use the same
form that arrived with your training directory (replacement forms
can be downloaded from the Birth to Five website www.birthtofive.org.uk/)
