Do you need help finding the best route for you?

A member of the workforce development team is available to visit your setting to discuss individual training needs with your staff team. This will enable you to meet necessary Ofsted  and Early Years Educational Entitlement (EYEE) requirements.

An agreed appointment will be made to suit your setting. We provide a supportive informal service, through information, advice and guidance on a one-to-one basis or full staff team meetings.

During this visit you will be informed of funding streams available and the process involved, whether this is short courses or a full qualification.

Registered Childminders can also access this service (see below for more information).

The Workforce Development Team will give guidance on:

Effective Appraisals Booklet

After the recent Garnett Foundation sessions, it was highlighted that a guide to Appraisals would be useful to managers. This has been produced and is available here. This will be complemented by the e-Learning course available from June as shown on page 38 of the Training Directory.
